Date: Thursday, November 20, 2008, 1:47 PM I just want to send out an e-mail to my friends to tell you how proud I am of Jordan. Some months back, like 3-4 he took a test to become a religious specialist. He has to go through a very long interview with many Chaplin's of all different religion. and they only interviewed 4 people 4 it. They said he was the only one out of the 4 they were interested in because he did not have to think about his answers and he was very good at eye contact. Lots of questions. They came the hard part studying many religion. and then taking the test which took all these months to get the results back. It was not just the religion. part he had to pass either. He was worried about that too because most of the religion. part was Muslim. Which he did not think it would be. Only 50 percent of the people that took this test passed it, he was one of them. I guess not all were from his ship, was a navy wide thing I do believe do not mark my words. Now when he goes to Iraq in January he will be working with the Chaplin's there, ya which scares me very much, to tears if I think about it to much. Takes him closer to the front. It is what he has wanted since he enlisted so for that I must be proud he is reaching his goals one by one and takes him closer to his biggest goal of going on to college. He is very proud of what he does. And if you are for the war or against it does not matter to me because my son is a very good person doing a good things with his life, and also trying to make things better and bring god to the lives of others no matter who you are. May all of us live in peace here at home while our men and women fight for those whom live in fear all of their lives. Faith
